Mom, what's for dinner???

Hawaiian Meatballs

1 lb hamburger
1/2 cup corn flakes (crushed)
1 egg
1 1/2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon chopped onion
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp pepper
dash of garlic salt

*mix all together with meat, form into balls and brown in pan.

Sauce:
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons flour
*mix in sauce pan and add 2/3 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 Tablespoon ketchup
1 Tablespoon soy sauce

* Heat to boil and add to meat balls, let soak for 10 min in sauce. Serve over rice.

I just made these today (thanks to Jen), they were so good I decided to share with you all. I browned the meatballs in a pan then put in crockpot with the sauce. So easy... This is sooooooo yummy, but very sweet! I also added a small can of Pineapple tidbits, and it was delish!

Christmas Lights???

Last night we were having Family Home Evening outside. We put out a blanket and had some ice cream cones (Ammon was in charge of the dessert) and read a story out of the Friend. Somewhere in the middle of the story Ammon looks up at the house and says "Where are our Christmas Lights"? We laughed for ever... kids say the funniest things, and I just love my little goof. Easter Activities

What a fun weekend with family! Well I guess with Mikes family. Saturday we went to his mom's house and did all the Easter activities, then Sunday was going to be with my family. Well while we were at Church, Relief Society to be exact, Carter started throwing up. It was so sad, I had just nursed him and he was out. We sang the opening song and started announcements then he woke up and just started barfing all over himself and ME! It was so bad, it was coming out of his nose. I just got up and left, yes with barf all over both of us. So needless to say we didn't make it to my families house, but they came and got Ammon and so I guess he still was able to do all the fun stuff with them. They had an Easter egg hunt with money in the eggs and Ammon got $1. My brother Ryan got $27, too bad I wasn't there or else I would have been fighting him for all those eggs. Well overall it was a fun weekend! And Carter is already better, it's only a 6 hour flu... weird!!!

Happy 25th Birthday Jess!!!

Yes, I know it's one day early- but with Easter Egg Hunts planned tomorrow I did NOT want to forget. I found this in my VERY old scrapbook that I did when I was VERY young... so don't laugh! We have been best friends since we were around 4 years old, but I was younger then that! We grew up in the same neighborhood and same ward. So I have lots of good memories with Jess! We have had both our babies around the same time, and I loved being pregnant together. I'm sooooooo glad we are still friends, Hope you have a GREAT day!

Crawling...

Today Carter has totally taken off crawling! He has been crawling since the beginning of the month, but it was just a little bit. Well today it must have clicked... he realized he could get around and get what he wants. He has been driving Ammon crazy, he crawls over to him and then takes Ammons stuff right out of his hands (fish crackers). He has been following me around too, I was cleaning bathrooms and next thing I know Carter has (the empty) garbage can. Even though he has been getting into things he is soooooo much more content. I am so happy that he can kind of entertain himself instead of me having to hold him all day.

Not as much fun...

Okay so this private blog is NOT so fun, everyone who looked at my blog that isn't a blogger couldn't get in! My dad says it's just too much work, and my friends and family are the reason I am doing this . So... I am trying this again- now not private. Hopefully it works or else I will have to go private or just call it quits. So I guess we'll see...

Spring Break

I think Carter is in love with Tally, they were sooooooo cute together!

What a fun week we have had, I am totally sad that on Monday life will be back to normal... no more daddy around! I guess we will just have to look forward to SUMMER...

So much fun in Arizona!!!!

We went to stay with our friends Matt and Jess. We had so much fun, we stayed so busy and got to do tons of stuff. We went to a Spring Training game. We watched the Padres and the Rangers. I really didn't watch the game, I just had fun talking to Jess and taking super cute pictures of all of our kids.
Matt and Mike. I just love it when my girlfriends husband and my husband get along as well as we do.

Chase and Ammon had lots of fun watching the baseball game and getting their ball signed after the game.

We went to this really cool park in SURPRISE, it was so fun. We fed the ducks bread, I was actually kind of scared, they came right up to us and wanted to eat the bread out of our hand.

Hoover Dam... wow isn't it amazing! It was pretty cool to look out at it, it was pretty FUN!!! Ammon called it his castle, I guess it kind of looked like that...
CHOO-CHOO... Ammon absolutely LOVES trains, so this was so cool to him and us. This train is in Kingman. It was HUGE... as you can see Mike is shorter, by far, then the tire and he is 6 feet tall! It was really close to the real train track and so we saw two trains pass as we were looking at this one. Ammon was in train Heaven!!!

Mike want's me to add that this trains top speed was 100 mph, he says that is amazing since it weighs over 460,000 lbs!
Gotta love this cheesy picture!!! Thanks again Jess, WE HAD TONS OF FUN, and the 6 1/2 hour drive really wasn't as bad as I expected. Maybe it's because it took us 9 1/2 hours to get home because we stopped so much. But it was fun and I hope to do it again.

Baseball Hats...

Mike bought Ammon a new hat because we are going to a baseball game in Phoenix this weekend with our friends. But... it is a little BIG. Carter took over Ammons old hat and it fits just right. I love being able to just hand down the used stuff... although if it looks old I have to just throw it out. I don't want Carter to look all grungy and Ammon to look so cute in his new clothes, I would feel bad!

Ammon totally has a sweet tooth, and I thought this was hilarious. He was hidding from us and when Mike found him he tried to give him a cookie, as if that would make it ok. He is such a stinker, lately he doesn't want to eat ANYTHING that is good for him- just junk!

Going Private...
