Pool Party!!!

(enlarge to check out this backyard)

Then Saturday we were invited to a pool party at a ward members house. It was so fun. The backyard was totally amazing, and the kids had so much fun going down the slide. Mike went down too, I guess I didn't get a picture of him... oops! We also had a BBQ, it was so nice to get out of the house and get to know more members of our ward. I can't believe I actually was able to pull my husband away from his studies to come, but I think he was glad he did.

Home, Sweet, Home...

Last Monday Ammon, Carter and I drove (by ourselves) to St. George. The boys were honestly PERFECT. No lie. They didn't make a noise the whole time, thanks to the DVD player (and ear phones)! We had a blast and really didn't want to come home. If it weren't to see Dad we would have stayed. There's nothing like HOME! The boys stayed very busy chasing the dogs around the house and outside. They were all totally worn out by the end of the day, dogs included!
One night we made rice crispy treats (Ammons request). ANd since this is Papa's specialty, he whipped them up. They were sooooo yummy and gooey, my favorite!

Then things got a little silly. Everyone was making funny faces. It all started because my Dad really can't make a "normal" face for a picture. We laugh at him all the time. Too funny!

One day we met our cousins and Grandma Watts at the park for lunch. The kids had kids meals and us girls had Olive Garden soup and salad. Sooooo yummy and fun! Thanks guys!!!

We really had so much fun. I got to eat Cafe Rio and Texas Roadhouse, thanks Mom and Dad. We went shopping for the boys some warm clothes and some baby stuff. We had a blast and can't wait to make another trip. I'm soooooooooo thankful that I still live close enough that this is an option. YEAH!

Only in Pomona California...

would you see a lady taking a "poop" on the side of the street!!!!!!!! Like really, there are gas stations along Garey Avenue and you could easily use their restroom. We are not in a third-world country people! Come on, I hope to NEVER see that again.
***I do not live in Pomona, but that is where Western University is, my Doctors office and the hospital I will deliver my baby at. So I do go that way often and I'm usually scared, especially if it's getting dark. I have seen all kinds of weirdo's... it's pretty much like a freak show daily. I also just found out that they heard gun shots at Western U a little while ago. Oh and a guy in my ward was a Principal at a HS in Pomona and witnessed 4 drive by shootings (He's probably 32), yeah this place is scary. Major ghetto... truly! I need to bring my camera next time. Actually I have to go to the Pomona Valley Hospital today to take the Blood Glucose Screening Test, you know where you have to drink that super sugary drink. Oh I'm so excited for both.**** Just so you know, I live in a very nice, quiet, clean area. Nothing like POMONA... thank heavens!

The BEACH...

(Yes, that is my foot with the major tan line... can you tell I wear flip-flops EVERYDAY... it's a good thing I moved to California and not somewhere COLD... I would have nothing to wear!)

Nothing like ham sandwiches at the beach when your starving!

Can't quite get the ham in his mouth... so funny!

Eeeewwwwww... this is why I cringe getting in the ocean. What is really at the bottom?!?!?!?!

It was so foggy, really quite weird!

He was a little nervous about the water getting to him.

Ammon wanted to go out on his own... YEAH RIGHT!
Kason and Wendy
Thanks guys! We had sooooo much fun. Can't wait to have another Beach Day!

I know I'm spoiled...

Reason #2... CAFE RIO... (of course it uploads backwards)
Ummmmm... it was sooooooooo good! Thanks guys, how did you know that I have been CRAVING it since, um JULY!

Reason #1... Visits from FAMILY...

Our family comes often... but for some reason it still doesn't seem like it's enough. Can't someone just move in with us to keep me company (and to help me with these kiddos, my exhaustion and growing belly are getting in the way)?!?!?!? (Sorry to all of you who hardly ever see you family, I don't know how you do it, I'm a baby)

(look how good his arm has healed from his burns... you will have to enlarge...)

Uncle Kason and Aunt Wendy did the coolest "pirate" themed treasure hunt. The boys were so excited! And of course they got totally spoiled. The swords provided hours of entertainment. Carter really takes it seriously, he was hitting EVERYONE with it.
