Peyton's Blessing Day

She looked so beautiful, I love this girl!
Peyton in her blessing dress. Thanks Aunt Wendy for taking the beautiful pictures. My kids are so lucky to have two talented Aunts that take pictures.

Isn't this dress so beautiful?

{After Peyton was changed out of her dress} Eliza loved holding her. She is so cute.
Keaton, Sydney and Kasey... which I just found out is expecting baby #1. I couldn't be happier that my kids will have a cousin on my side. Not sure where Ryan is...
Mikes brother Mason and Jaci, they also have two kids and one on the way.

Say "cheese", this makes me laugh. Kason listened... haha.

Papa and Grandma Bale
Grandma Watts and Peyton

I have a feeling these two will have to stick together, they are the only girl cousins (this generation). And Eliza's mom is having another boy. Boys rule in this family I guess.

Great-Grandma Ellett, Grandma Bale, and Peyton.
Peyton was blessed on Sunday March 21, 2010 by her father at my parents house. She looked absolutely beautiful. We kept it small because there wasn't a ton of room, but I loved it that way. We had a great time with just our close families. As I got Peyton ready, in the blessing dress that my mom made for me, I couldn't help but tear up. She is such a special little girl, I love her so much. I am so grateful that my mom spend many hours making this dress for me and now I can pass it on. I hope that one day Peyton will bless her little girl in this same dress. I think we have started a tradition!!!

so happy...

{makes me laugh}
pretty girl in a new outfit. thanks mom

can you believe i'm already 10 weeks old????

so happy...

that my kids are feeling better. It was a long two weeks of colds but we made it and Peyton was one tough girl and didn't even end up in the hospital (even though sometimes I had wished she was there so someone could help and reassure me that she was fine). So other then the cough that they all have we are good as new. Enjoy our silly pictures we took today.

Desperate times...

call for desperate measures! Since Monday I have had medicine that Peyton was suppose to take every day, some every 4-6 hours and to be honest I don't think she actually had swallowed any of it up until about an hour ago. I had tried putting some in the side of her mouth while she was sucking on her binky... no luck, spit it all out, every time. Tried putting it in her mouth and then quickly blowing in her face to try to get her to swallow, no luck again. So today I decided I would try putting it in a bottle nipple that is just like her binky to see if she would suck and swallow and IT WORKED! I can't even explain my excitement... maybe now she will start getting better... I'm sure hoping. She is pretty sick, and really scares me. Monday night was the worst, by far. Her nose was pretty much completely stuffed up and since she is so young she doesn't know to open her mouth and breath. We were suctioning her nose and nothing was coming out. I was freaking out, she was suffocating. I was about to tell Mike I was going to call 911 when she sneezed! Lots of thick mucous came out and she could breath again. Thank heavens! Mike then gave her a blessing and she hasn't had anything like that again. Since I have also been using a lot of saline spray for babies that has helped a ton. It has worked miracles in thinning the mucus. So I'm hoping with the medicine in her it will help with her chest congestion, which is really bad today. So I'm scared what tonight might bring... hopefully this medicine will help... PLEASE GET BETTER SOON. I'm exhausted.

Peytons Two Month Checkup...

Today Peyton went in for her 2 month checkup. Luckily I already had this scheduled because she ended up being sick and needed to see the Dr. anyway.

Stats:
11 lbs. 3 ozs.
22 1/2 inches long
and her head was in the 50th percentile, actually her whole body was.

The Dr. was pretty concerned about the cold that Peyton has. He mentioned her possibly having to go to the hospital if she gets much worse. I knew that was coming. The boys got this first and have been really sick. Carter worse then Ammon. Carter has had fevers and a HORRIBLE cough. You can hear a "wheeze" when he has been coughing and is trying to catch his breath. That is why I know if Peytons turns out like Carters she will be hospitalized. I'm honestly SCARED TO DEATH. I laid awake listening to her cough last night and made sure she could breath. It was a long night. Actually I've had quite a few long nights since the boys have been sick too. They just aren't as scary as Peyton.
