In Loving Memory of Debra (Watts) Banks

I have so many emotions today, I really don't know where to start. Yesterday Mikes sister Debbi passed away unexpectedly. She has two kids, Deken 17 and Kenbra 13. She was the best aunt to my kids. She supported us in everything that we have done, this picture was at Ammon & Carters birthday party. She drove three hours to come to their party. She truly was an amazing and caring person. She served the Lord and those around her everyday. She has left a hole in our hearts and will be missed dearly. We love you Deb!

Sneak Peek for Natasha and Happy Pioneer Day...

Oh these two twin babies are sooooooooo ADORABLE! I loved holding them and taking their pictures today. With tomorrow being the 24th of July I figured this was the perfect picture to post. P.S. They held hands voluntarily, we didn't even pose them... they are so sweet! They ALMOST make me want twins, but I don't think I could do it. Natasha is such a good mommy!

Todays...THE DAY!!!

Right now as I write this Mike is taking the MCAT (it's 6 hour test)! This is what we have been working toward since... well... FOREVER! I am a little nervous for him but mostly just EXCITED to be to this point. I know he will do well, he has been studying for it for a while (We won't find out the results for A MONTH). Hopefully we will be applying to Med School in a month from now!!!!!!! Ammon and I made him some "good luck" sugar cookies yesterday and as you can see Ammon had fun. We were both stained with blue food coloring since Ammon didn't listen when I told him to stop squeezing it out. Then he decided to eat it while I was cleaning up mess #1. His lips were BLUE... he looked like he was suffocating, but fortunately survived. Well GOOD LUCK babe, I know you'll do awesome!

The FORT

Yesterday we built a fort, and had a blast! Ammon and Carter played in it for a couple of hours. It sure beats being outside in the heat and it is sooooo humid... but I have totally enjoyed the RAIN!

Great-Grandpa and Grandma...

Last Friday night my Grandpa and Grandma brought us over some "home-grown" tomatoes and squash (YUM) and Ammon wanted Great Grandpa to read him a book. It was just too cute to not take a picture of. Grandpa was sooooo cute to make the different noises, I loved it and didn't want to forget this. Carter kept wanting up and then down... and Grandpa just let him. Ammon and Carter just LOVE them!

4th of July Weekend

In some of the pictures you can see my parents dog in the background. She was so funny, she was swimming in the lake trying to catch fish! My brother, Ryan caught a fish and was trying to show all the little kids the fish and the dog jumped up and caught the fish in her mouth. It was gross, but funny! She's a little huntin' dog... I guess she just fits in the family!
What a weekend! We started out camping on Beaver Mountain, then stayed with Mikes brother Mason and his wife Jaci, then went to a BBQ at his brother Glenn's house, we also watched fireworks there, then went to a family reunion. It was kind of crazy, but we didn't miss a thing. The boys enjoyed all of it but the highlights were Papa's 4-wheelers and swimming with cousins.Mike, my Dad and brothers all like shooting their bows when we are camping. Camping over the 4th is a tradition with my family. Last year, on Beaver Mountain, Ammon fell in the camp fire. This year we didn't have a fire and thankfully we were all safe!
Carter LOVED my parents new trailer! Yes, they bought a trailer so we wouldn't have to cook on a campfire. I am VERY happy about that!!!This was at the family reunion... gotta love those! I barely knew anyone, but we had a good time.

Today He's "Officially" ONE!!!!!!

My little walker, he is walking all over the house. He is into EVERYTHING right now. I think he has more fun pulling things out of the drawers or cupboards then playing with toys! He has learned how to hold his own with his brother, and he has a very strong grip!
They are best friends and I love that! They play all day and have alot of fun together. Carter acts like a totally different kid when Ammon isn't at home!
He was covered with cream cheese or so it looked that way!

One year ago I got started at 6:00 in the morning, and he was born at 3:28 in the afternoon. He was the BEST baby, he rarely cried and slept ALOT. He is still such a cuddle bug, he has such a cute personality. He is also so funny! He's new thing is when he is in his high chair he will throw food onto the floor. Then if it isn't cleaned up immediately he likes to have a snack and eat it off the floor. When I sweep it up he gets mad! He's so fun and we love him so much... Happy Birthday Bud!
