These two boys are just that... all boys! They already "rough- house" and since no holes have been punched through any walls yet- I think it's funny! I love that Carter is on top of Ammon and even pinching his nose. They have a lot of fun together, and I'm so glad that where ever we have to move for Mike to go to school they will always have their best friend with them. What a blessing that is to me to know they will always have a friend to play with... I love these boys!!!!!!

You may turn into a Squirrel if...

YOU DON'T BRUSH YOUR TEETH! Yes, this was Ammons dream about a month ago. He woke me up at 4:30 in the morning when he was in the bathroom trying to brush his teeth. When I went in he told me that he was going to turn into a squirrel if he didn't brush his teeth. I told him he would be fine to wait until morning. The next day he told Carter that if he wouldn't let mom brush his teeth he would turn into a squirrel and we would have to throw him outside. So Ammon still thinks this and willingly brushes his teeth all the time, I think it's hilarious! But hey... it works!!!!!!!

Yum... homemade bread!!!

My boys are CONSTANTLY helping me in the kitchen. It really is fun, as long as I keep my cool when flour is EVERYWHERE. I got a wheat grinder for Christmas and it is AWESOME! I have done the math and one slice of my bread has 11 grams of FIBER! Yes, that explains why my boys had the poops so bad when they ate a WHOLE loaf. But it is so delicious and good for you!
***We found out that Mike is on the waiting list at Touro... not exactly what we were hoping for. So we will be going to Pomona in a couple weeks for another Interview at Western University. The school seems to be really good, I'm just concerned about housing. The housing I have seen on the internet is either TOTALLY disgusting or SUPER expensive. Just to give you an idea of the totally disgusting part... the cupboards were painted bright PURPLE, the walls bright GREEN, and the ceiling YELLOW. Yes, it's not exactly my style. Now for the Super expensive part... a 3 bedroom, 2 bath duplex, WITH WASHER AND DRYER HOOK-UPS (none of the rentals has this) is $1,900.00 a month. Not really in a students budget... so who knows... I just have to say I LOVE THE WAITING GAME... will it ever end????????????????

A quick update...

I just had to quickly let you all know that we had a good time in Vegas for Mikes interview. This was the FIRST time we had EVER left our kids overnight. They did awesome and had so much fun. When we picked them up from my parents house Ammon said "That was a nice, fun day", he makes me laugh.
Mike's interview went pretty well. It's hard to tell for sure until they ask him to attend their school. So we should know within 2 weeks. I WANT TO KNOW NOW, THOUGH! Anyways I will try to be patient. When Mike was at his interview I went with my good friend Kiley and her adorable little girl Hadley (she even cried when I left). We had so much fun, we went to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then we looked around her ward boundaries for a house for me to rent. It's all really exciting and nerve racking. Hopefully we find out from Touro REALLY soon. Mike also has another invitation to interview, but were hoping he doesn't have to go to it. Time will tell.

A few Christmas Pages...

There are still a TON of pictures to go through and scrapbook but at least I have started, right? We had an awesome Christmas, but I think Mike felt a little left out. Let me explain... Mikes mom gave us a wheat grinder, it was for both of us though. My parents got us a food saver, it was for both of us though. So he has decided that next year when his Mom asks what we need for Christmas he will tell her we NEED a power washer. No more "I don't knows" from him!!! He really didn't care I just felt like they were all for me, but he has benefited or will from both of the gifts.
And... Mike has his FIRST interview at Touro University on Wed. I sure hope all goes well and he gets in. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited to find out where we will be moving and everything. So keep him in your prayers for me!!!!!!!!!!

I have to get this down before I forget.

First, a few days before Christmas Ammon came running into our room really early in the morning saying that he couldn't find his other slipper. We were confused and then he said "The Polar Express Train is coming". He also said it was right outside and that he needed to hurry. This boy definitely has an imagination (and has watched The Polar Express to much)!

Second, a few weeks ago I woke up around 4:30 am and heard someone in the bathroom. So I went to see what was going on and Ammon was standing on the toilet trying to get his toothbrush and toothpaste. I asked him what he was doing and his reply was "I need to brush my teeth before I turn into a squirrel". I couldn't help but laugh and I asked him who told him that. He said I did, it must have been in a dream because I have never heard of such a thing. The next morning I was trying to brush Carters teeth and like usual he didn't want me to and was screaming. Ammon told him if he didn't brush his teeth he would turn into a squirrel and we would have to throw him outside. This age is the best! He is CONSTANTLY talking and asking questions. Gotta LOVE it!

I doubt I will EVER get caught up...

Looking at everything I haven't scrapbooked or even put on the blog is a little overwhelming! There has been SOOOOO much going on this Christmas Break that I haven't had a second to do anything. Mike had off 2 weeks from school for Christmas and we really used every second we had to play as a family. Knowing that this semester would be CRAZY with 19 credits. And, that has turned out to be completely true, he's rarely home and the boys are having daddy withdrawals. But we have been able to get back on a schedule, well kind of, we're still trying.

Last Tuesday Ammon started preschool and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES it! Which I am so happy that he enjoys it so much. Although I felt kind of weird inside, leaving him with people I don't know. Yes, I got a little teary eyed when I was driving home. I started thinking about when I went to preschool and I actually remember a few things, mainly that me and Teresa Jones had the same shoes. They were white high tops with different colored hearts on them... anyways it made me realize that Ammon could possibly remember this day for the rest of his life. I just hope he will only remember the fun things instead of me yelling at him when they pulled out all 500 books that were on their book shelf, or anything else like that. Anyways, I asked him if he made any new friends at school, he said " No, I didn't want any friends". I have NO idea why he said that, he loves all of his friends in our neighborhood. Thursday he did make some friends though. He is so fun right now!!!!!

There is TONS of snow at Grandma Watts' house and we enjoyed playing in it.

New Years was a lot of fun this year. We were up at our friends cabin in Duck Creek. We went sledding, the boys went snow mobiling, and of course Ammon got sick. We can't go on vacation without that happening!!! What is it with him? Anyways, it was a blast. Too bad I didn't pull out my camera more (Jess I had to steal some pics from your blog), we were just having too much fun! Thanks for inviting us to come with your fam, we loved it!!!!!

Well I still haven't even touched our Christmas pictures, so more to come!
